Pianist Yejin Lee was born in Seoul, Korea commencing her studies at the age of five. Yejin’s most recent accomplishment includes performing with the Korean Symphony Orchestra at the Seoul Arts Center and taking first prize at the MTNA State Competition. Other honors include first prize at PIANO/OHIO Cleveland International Junior piano competition, third prize at Oberlin International Piano Competition and Director’s Prize at Kingsville International Competition.
As a solo recitalist she has given performances sponsored by the KumHo Art Foundation; the E-Won Foundation; and by special invitation, the Rising Star Series Concert at the HoAm Art Hall and BuAm Art Hall. Yejin is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in piano and vocal accompanying at Oberlin Conservatory, under Haewon Song and Philip Highfill.
