Dianna Joiner, a native of South Carolina, began violin studies at the age of five. She earned a Bachelor of Music from the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University. In May 2015 she graduated with a Master of Music in violin performance from the University of Texas at Austin, studying with Brian Lewis. Dianna served as concertmaster of the University of Texas Symphony Orchestra and Butler Opera Orchestra. She has performed with the Austin Symphony Orchestra, Austin Lyric Opera, and Round Rock Symphony. She has also attended summer festivals including Brevard Music Center, Round Top Festival Institute, and Colorado College Music Festival. Dianna became a member of the Breckenridge Music Festival Orchestra in the summer of 2014. Dianna is currently pursuing a Professional Studies degree at the Cleveland Institute of Music with William Preucil.
