Biography: Austin Bradley

Austin Bradley, baritone, is a fourth year voice performance major who has studied with professors Salvatore Champagne and Lorraine Manz.  While at Oberlin, he sang Maximilian in Bernstein’s Candide, Jules in Bolcom’s A Wedding, and Masetto in Oberlin in Italy’s production of Don Giovanni.  Austin recently performed Finzi’s Let Us Garlands Bring with Oberlin’s College Community Strings in 2012.  During 2011, Austin participated in master classes by Marilyn Horne at the Oberlin Conservatory and Martin Katz, Roger Vignoles, and Graham Johnson as a SongFest Young Artist.  In December 2011, Austin was the bass soloist for Oberlin Conservatory’s Messiah Sing Along and First Church of Oberlin’s performance of Saint-Saëns’ Christmas Oratorio.  A regular performer of recitals, Austin was selected to perform on the Oberlin Conservatory Danenberg Honors Recital in March 2011. Austin was named a 2011 Presser Scholar at Oberlin Conservatory for musicianship and academic standing.
